I'm sure we all got the same wording. I was successful in my last GTR application and at Assessment, and to be only junked when they realised they had less vacancies than they'd expected, and my application wording was very similar this time around.
Nobody know what determines in what order the...
I have no inside information, but as GTR ran a big recruitment drive early last year and I think scrapped plans to invite further applicants in August as so many applied and passed assessment from the first intake I'd imagine most of their routes should be replete for the next few years. As a...
In any case you can only hitch your wagon to stars within the requiste travelling distance, and even if you've got more than one TOC within range you'd still be mad not to try for all openings.

Horsham station is served by Metro (SN3), Redhill (SN5) and Mainline West (SN6) routes according to SR route map.
Can anyone tell me whether Horsham depot signs drivers for all these routes, and if not then which?
I had a similar experience to FManc - applied for SR coastal routes a year ago, passed assessment centre in the autumn, told to expect an interview this Feb. Instead got an e-mail saying the number of current and anticipated vacancies was lower than originally expected so my application was...
