Waddington, Harmston, and Navenby were certainly a walk from station to population centre as the stations were below the "cliff" and the villages were at the top. Never knew it was known as the Cliff route, but I live in an oldish house in the bottom part of Waddington (now known as Lowfields)...

I attended black tie event recently and just bought a new white shirt and dickie from Debenhams for £25 and wore with a conventional black suit. Your'e still gonna get the odd eccentric with a full evening suit attire but with garish spotted bow tie anyway so wouldn't worry in the slightest.

As I remember from the local press, an adjacent building that was due to be partially knocked down was found to have asbestos in it which delayed the project whilst this was overcome.

Behind the old station building is now a housing estate and the gardens of that estate back up to the line. The area boundaried by Station Road/Sheepwash/the beck is now being potentially developed for housing. Not saying there isn't plans for a station on the backburner.

Washingborough/Heighington blur into each other so you wouldn't have a station at each. The line at Washingborough is in a deep cutting. Similar with Heighington. There is one area where you could potentially put a station (Sheepwash Lane), but house gardens back up to one side of the track...

Surprised if it was going to Scunny as both plants are (were) owned by different entities, unless the AFRPS have put in a cheeky bid!

Lincoln - Bardney closed 1981. Now a cycle route. Pyewipe Jcn (Lincoln) - Fledborough Viaduct on the Chesterfield line closed to freight 1980. Again, now a cycle route. The route the other side of the Trent stayed open to serve High Marnham PS until its closure. Now reinstated as a test track...
