Got a phone call on Monday and an e-mail on Tuesday with a Conditional Offer to start a course early next year woohoo. Got my medical coming up shortly! Can’t wait to get started, after a long g wait I had to punch myself asking “is this really happening at last?” So excited!!

What a nightmare! I just want to drive a train and earn a decent living. Don’t want to risk jumping out of fat in to fire though so to speak.

I’m already in the Talent Pool for Reading since April but they’re advertising again. Would I have to go through a full application process again to be considered for the Heathrow Express, Oxford or Paddington? If I do and am not successful will my current status still stand?

I’ve been rejected after doing the online assessments. Crazy thing is, I’m already in a Talent Pool for another TOC having passed everything already including the DMI. Just waiting for a call to start training. It’s lucky I’m not unemployed or I’d be in trouble the length of time this process...
