Hi Everyone, I'm looking into how The Auto Engine Stop Start (AESS) system is used in the railway industry. I see there are a number of reports from 10 years ago regarding DBC fitting 90 class 66's with AESS, but there has been little since then, not sure if the fitment was fully carried out...

809 was reported stripped on the back of a low loader today, I presume bound for Sims.

The rest of it is in the main yard, it may just be shunted out the way to make way for more 442's to come in.

Hi all, I've recently acquired a set of horns from an EMU and intend to get them working, but does anyone know their working pressure? Do they get the full 7.5 Bar or is it a bit less? Thanks

My mate works at Wolverton, apparently stripping started about a month ago.

Next time 809 moves it'll be onto a low loader to go for scrap. Its being stripped of spares.

Most units types I've worked usually all sound the same, the only exception was 323's which seemed to be much louder than anything else.
