A cheap multi-storey is likely to cost you at least £15k per parking space and that is before you add in the cost of land - at £10 a day, 75% occupancy over the year, add in financing and operating costs - it will be at least 10 years before you start seeing a return on your investment.

HIghly likely to be withdrawing services when the temperature exceeds a certain level just as happens now with storms. We dont have a resillent railway and no chance of investment to make it one.
In London where school children travel free on public transport, it is very common to see school groups out and about from a relatively young age using the network. Perhaps its time all school children were allowed free travel when on local school trips.

TfL, according to this site's ticket engine that also offers the £12.10 fare with a 60+ Oyster Card. Br Fares also shows zone 6 boundary to Stansted as being £12.10
Completely agree. It would be more sensible to say due to extreme weather conditions there is a high risk of short notice cancellations, delays and uncomfortable travel conditions and you might want to change your travel arrangements. To tell people not to travel in one breath and say trains are...
