I'm not entirely sure but at the managers interview it was mentioned that I would need to learn other routes such as through to Glasgow or over to Fife, guess ill just have to wait and see.
I've not really posted much on the forum but log in daily and have found it invaluable in helping me through the assessments and interviews.
So on the 20th May I will become a trainee train driver at FSR, it still doesn't seem real but I'm really looking forward to getting started.
Thanks again...
Thats great news Scottdm, I've got my medical on Monday and the disclosure is done and clear so hopefully I'll be passed fit for work. Just out of curiosity what tests do they do on you.
Just got mine from ScotRail today too, like many others have said before this site has been invaluable.
So its just the disclosure, medical and references which will be ok then then fun really begins.
Out of curiosity Scottdm, is it the Tweedbank depot you'll be working from?
I didn't hear anything after the assessment but my status changed to Passed at Part Assessment when I log into the first site. I didn't hear anything more until 2 weeks ago when I got a phone call to say I hadn't been forgotten about and that I would have an interview date in a couple of weeks...
I passed my assessment on the 6th Dec and got a phonecall a couple of weeks ago saying I will get a date for the interview soon, so hopefully will hear from them soon.
The guy I sat with on the train home recieved a letter a couple of days after the assessment saying he had failed on the concentration tests and his status was unsuccessful at assessment.
Ive not had any emails or anything through the post so I assume I have passes the first part of the...
I've not had any emails since the assessment but when I log in my status now says successful at part assessment.
Doesn't look good if I've not heard anything by now :-(
No idea whats happening although I was in Glasgow for the assessment on the 6th and just got word back earlier this week that I've passed.
They said the interviews would be in December but times running out for that.
Maybe they are struggling to get enough passes for holding the interviews.
