Caledonian Sleeper discussion

I was on the CS from Euston last night (Fri), and we were three hours late to Kingussie. When I got off I noticed we had a 66 pulling a 73, I assumed the 73 broke down and had to be towed but reading the thread I am not so sure. Does anyone know what happened to this train last night?
