Is it an interview or assessment centre u have been invited to?

I've always thought that a commitment to relocate should be seen as a positive on an application, shows the extent to which one will go for the role.

I've put in for Birmingham. It's a relocate but I have no ties anywhere so it would be easy for me in that sense, I also have all my OPC passes from the GTR round, so all it would take it is a DMI pass this time!

Nothing in the post box for me this morning, I am pinning my hopes on the fact I live quite a way from London and my invite took a day longer than everyone elses! keeping everything crossed for 2 days!

Well done guys, still awaiting my invite to interview, I passed stage 2 on the Friday of week 1 (17th July). Was called and emailed on the 20th but have had nothing since, did anyone get any clues as to when the DMIs will be completed by?

I did the conductor assessment in January. If u can hammer out 9 or 10 lines with very few mistakes every two minutes you should be fine, remember, you need to show consistent performance and not fall away from sheet 2 onwards. Some people were knocking out 15 lines, others 8, all passed.

Took it in January, the recruitment people are really friendly and welcoming, you should have no nerves. It's the GBT followed by a TRP test, which having now done both, I believe is actually trickier than the OPC version! Then there are ticket checking and selling exercises. If you pass...

How long is the gap between stage 1 and stage 2, a week, 2 weeks? Not assuming a pass or anything of the sort, just trying to organise my revision time and plan ahead should I pass don't want to be caught cold!
