See, this is why I prefer the 'premium brand' aspect of stores. I don't mind paying a little more at Carluccio's or Hotel Chocolat, because you get a quality product. What annoys me is the ridiculous mark ups in places like WH Smith...

Yo! Sushi and Carluccio's will both be upstairs, as will a new branch of Hotel Chocolat (I think following on from the successful store in King's Cross which is always packed!). Other than that, I'm not sure.

Chaos this afternoon, with signs up warning that disruption will probably continue in the morning. The burst was actually at Mile End according to Thames Water - but I took the Jubilee to Stratford and then had to wait in a queue for half an hour for a bus. TfL seemed to be doing a sterling job...

I read somewhere that Birmingham Airport only runs at 55% capacity. It's only an hour from London now (less after HS2 is finished) - this is on par with the time it takes to get to Stanstead!

I travelled on one today and I've got to say, I loved it. I wasn't a fan of the design from renders and so on, but when it pulls up it looks very majestic and the interior is wonderful; it actually feels well designed, rather than most busses. The development costs weren't actually that high...
