Sadly her return to frontline duties will miss the gala by a few weeks. However I must publicly credit the owners for putting in a great amount of effort in recent weeks to try and get it ready. There is a push to get it doing a running day or two before the end of the season.

Don't know if this counts but here's another Dean Forest one - XC 170 110 visited earlier this year to use our road loading bay after it was involved in some sort of incident on the mainline and was unable to travel back via rail. :-)

That was our view, we were only 5 minutes away from the terminus and we just wanted him off the train - by the time the police had been called and his family escorted from the train we would have had trouble with the remaining passengers so it was just easier to get to Lydney and get everyone...
