Units 810006, 010, 011, 013, 018 and 022 in service today.
810013 on at arrival at Sheffield at 15.05 went back to Derby 15.35 as ECS- 15.35 to St Pancras cancelled as far as Derby, not sure if this is train crew related rather than unit fault.
15 222s in service today although 222102 failed...
About this time last year we went to Skegness from Hinckley by train. From Nottingham it was a 3 car 170/4 unit, early afternoon on a Thursday was pretty quiet. Coming back on Sunday morning very different. Again 3 car 170 unit, got a seat but pretty full leaving Skegness. Some standing after...
According to RTT 810012 looks to be coming back into service later.
Anyone knows about 810006 (not out for a while) and 810019 still at Old Dalby?
You would have thought the uplifted timetable end of August more 810s needed.
In a few week's time when the Colleges and Schools go back and commuting returns to higher levels if the 175 situation doesn't improve how will GWR resource the busy Barnstaple College train and others? Be interesting few weeks ahead.
Could GWR cancel services on some routes and run replacement...
Just had a look at RTT and seems only 2 are in use now(003 and 009) respectively on the 13.14 and 13.50 Penz-Plymouth.
111 failed earlier at Bodmin this morning. Can't see any others out right now unless I've missed one.
Looks like also one of the 150s on Newquay branch has failed too?
Yes that's right of course but just by what I'm gathering by looking at RTT is the 810s are improving. Looks like the same 6 units were out yesterday with no failures and I couldn't see any significant late running either. Up ntil not long ago 1 or 2 units would fail daily so 6/9 available 810s...
I've been looking at RTT the last few days and the 810s do seem to be improving which is good.
A few cancelled services today due to failure of trains (reason gave by RTT)but not sure if are 222s.
4 still out now and running well with the 5th finished it's diagram for the day and prob back at...
I work in a large supermarket and agree with the above. When you're on a staffed tills you try and scan as same speed as they pack and try and keep the queue down if it's busy.Customers trying to find coupons, open up their App and paying cash all can slow you down. Sundays also seen to see a...
The Poundstretcher in Hinckley (Britannia Centre) closed suddenly and without any notice on Saturday. Not surprising as never anyone is there, not much decent shops open now in the Britannia Centre hasn't helped though especially since Greggs moved out.
I used to work in Kettering back in 2021-2024 and can vouch the large car parks are never rammed, always plenty of room. There are 2 car parks, north and south both next to platform 1.
The connect service leaves from platform 1 to London every 30 mins Mon to Sat the 360s are definitely more...
Weekdays should see 6 diagrams, all single sets, multiple working is still to happen/be signed off.
022 is highest numbered unit.
I believe there should have been more in use by now but units have issues which slow things down. I believe all 222s were to go by end of the year, very unlikely now...
