    That's great, thanks for the info. I hadn't spotted the Thameslink trains go through Carshalton. Personally I'll be heading to London Bridge but the missus has to get to Holborn so Thameslink and a walk could be the best option.

    Thanks for the response. I'm not planing on driving to the station so that's not really an issue, but good to know that Carshalton rather than Beeches is hopefully a less busy line

    Carshalton / Carshalton Beeches - I'm hoping to move near one of these stations. Does anyone know how busy they are for commuting into London? I'm assuming it's standing room only but it would be good to know I will be able to get on a train at least!
