HST Preservation?

1976 such a long time ago! I remember them all being built in Crewe Works. Initially two of them of the production fleet were painted black I remember seeing 43002 in this livery stabled on Crewe Diesel Depot from a passing train, it soon returned to the works for painting in the normal livery...
