Hello
I’m off on an all-line rover later this month and am looking for some local info from fellow enthusiasts please.
08 600 at AV Dawson, Middlesbrough. I’m led to believe this is usually left close to the level crossing on Forty-Foot Road. Any other suggested locations.
Other than the three...
Quick Questions:
Does anyone have details of what trams have been moved out?
What can be seen from the roads outside the depot?
Have the repairs to the roof of Rigby Road been carried out
Any news of a possible depot open day?
Can anyone please advise the units at the back of Kirkdale at 15:00 today unit 009 was out front but couldn't see the numbers of the others. They are quite small!
So is seems my mention of match wagons wasn't clear so to be specific I mean the 4 Eurostar Barrier Vehicles 96380 - 384.
One was sat outside Temple Mills but with both dirt and the wire fencing could make out any numbering.
Have spent a couple of evenings at Stratford and a couple of questions arise
The Eurostar match wagons. Where are they kept and how clear are their numbers? Saw one outside but could see anything on it.
Why with so many 345 units sitting idle are TFL still using 315 units?
OK so for the last - well many many years - I have been after this one unit. Am going to Newcastle in a couple weeks in the (vain) hope that she may well be around. What I'm after is any local knowledge about this unit, if it still works or is shut away somewhere never to run again o_O.
Hi
Am looking for any recent sightings of these 9 coaches being some of my last coaches to see.
West Coast Rail x7
325 “Duart”; 3058 “Florence”; 3125; 4951; 5032/99134 (not sure which number this wears), 5229 and 9391 - suppose could be on the Jacobite or in Carnforth / Southall , or any other...
So as part of a trek down to the West Country I'm looking for the "new" HST coaching stock and wonder what Laira is like for seeing stuff! As I recall Embankment Road runs alongside the HST sudings and there is a green space facing the line between Mount Gould and Lipston Junctions. Any other...
Looking to visit a number of preservation lines this summer in order to see as many loomotives as poss. This brings me onto the question of public access into engine sheds. Locations like the GCR at Loughborough and the Bluebell at Sheffield Park are open to wonder around but from experiance /...
