There seems to be a severe shortage of rolling stock, class 158 and 159, today and this week. Some trains only 2 coaches instead of 6. My partner could not board a train at Axminster this morning. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Sad to see 003 & 023 partially graffitied by some scrote.

I saw 016 yesterday at Birkenhead North depot attached to 001, about 11am. When I went past about 30 minutes later, they has uncoupled and 001 entered service on the West Kirby circuit. There was no sign of 016, so maybe in the shed?

All 507 on the New Brighton circuit (four units), 001 on 15.23 ex NB. Old school!!

Surely it would have been checked that the biofuel would work effectively on these units. Really does sum up the railway in general at the moment.

312 on COL - WON yesterday, 29/03.

838 & 853 doing the business this afternoon, looking cleaner and better cared for than many more modern trains around the country. A credit to those that look after this rolling stock. Good for another 40 years!!

508 & 343 on 13.47 BIS to SRA.

338 & 504 were coupled together for most, if not all of last week. I was lucky enough to travel on 338 at least three times last week, twice on Cambridge workings and once on the Hertford East link.

Went through Hove yesterday. These units were in the siding nearest the station, clearly visible from the train and platform.

Good news for the railway. What a shame that I'm going to get very little refunded, if anything, from my train driver experience which I paid a lot of money for in 2019. The current "Trust" do not seem very concerned about the customers who have lost significant amounts of money.
