I assume it's a case whereby they've accounted for that pool already then, I may very well just be clutching at straws on this one!
Thanks for the luck, I'll be sure to be keeping a frequent eye on things. The positive thing that came out of this is that the initial wage is a hefty pay cut...
What I mean is on their application page, it was stated that they were also hiring for a training pool for starting the job later on this year - I took that as you get the invite to start either this Apri, or toward the end of the year?
(Total joke here) if you decline based on the OPC, send...
Turned down for Chester, absolutely gutted.

I'm 20 minutes away and got the rejection, not quite as consoling! :(
Has anyone in this forum been in this position before? I.e had one application unsuccessful, with the other remaining open? I'm just wondering what the odds are of succeeding in one when the other has been unsuccessful is all.

Yep, I banged one...
As 252 is Chester I'd assume this is still open for everyone seeing as there's likely to be more applicants, due to central location? Fingers are crossed but not keeping my hopes up, as someone already said, it's very much a game of luck to get past the shortlisting stage, then skills/interview...
I'm coming from an extensive health and safety, safety rule, LV/mechanical background and I'm not getting my hopes up in the slightest for this very reason! Can only cross fingers :)
My 252 (Chester?) is still shortlisting. Seems like they're certainly rolling out the decisions now though. Best of luck and fingers crossed for your third mate
Mind me asking where you're based roughly? I'm the other side of Mold. Either way, two separate rejections possibly show they're thinking of location first?
Me neither! Based on location, I think my rejected one was Llandudno Junction, the one remaining being Chester which is 20 mins from me at most.
(Rejected application was A15/250)
Expect some traction guys (pardon the pun) - one of my applications has kicked up as unsuccessful after shortlisting, so keep updated on your application statuses. Hopefully the second application won't suffer the same fate :|
Ahh right thanks for clearing that up man. Well I believe the applications were originally meant to be open until Monday 18'th with a view to interview in early February, so hopefully applicants will hear back within the next week?
I had a phone interview for my current job, I find them a lot...
Does anyone have a rough idea how long it'll take them to get past the shortlisting? The ad said the interviews were planned for early Feb, so I'd assume that phase will be done very soon so they can send interview invites out?
Also, if anyone has ever been unsuccessful with ATW, do they...
