    Having been on the TPE service (as I got off 1S28) I suspect the amount of people off the Lumo service would not have been very comfortable on it.

    It's quite possible that there's not a lot of information to filter down to train crew... I think these sort of situations tend to have long periods of nothing...

    From previous years, I think they vary the route though and also run via Heathrow... but they haven't done a timetable for this year yet.

    I'm fairly sure the train in the picture isn't the Track Recording Train, as it's only 3-cars long and probably doesn't have 'Rail Adhesion Train' written on the side of it...

    The date and image were a late edition to the page... everyone that phoned to book highlighted this fact. Online booking also wasn't possible earlier.

    I thought TFL had their own 'loaner' 20s stored there usually? I'm certainly sure I've seen them on the way past :D

    Why would they go to Ruislip/Ickenham, in to Ruislip Depot and then back on to NR metals, when they arrive on the Amersham Branch, and could get back on to NR metals that way?
