So presumably, if XC did refuse to honour this obligation, I would have to stick with travelling with XC as far as Edinburgh, and then hope that I arrived at Edinburgh in time to allow me to use NRCoT 28.2 for a ScotRail or LNER service between Edinburgh and Aberdeen?
So, by the sounds of it, the best way to get XC to honour the Article 16 obligation if I want to switch TOC before Edinburgh would be to try contacting them on social media?
I did experience such a cancellation when travelling recently, and XC didn't automatically arrange ticket acceptance with...
CrossCountry only run 1 train per day between England and Aberdeen (the 09:27 starting from Plymouth).
So, if you are booked on this train with an advance single to Aberdeen, and the train is wholely or partly cancelled,

I notice that Crosscountry appear to be running no direct trains
between Plymouth and Edinburgh today, tomorrow or Monday.

On Wednesday 4th September, I am travelling to Brussels. The plan is to travel from Exeter to London Waterloo, then catch a tube
service to St Pancras International for the Eurostar. How much time do I need to allow between arriving in Waterloo and catching my Eurostar?
I know if I was changing...
On the 18th of February I travelled from Exeter to Heathrow. Later in the day I travelled
back again. Both journeys I made using advance singles with the same booking reference.
I used paper tickets for the journey.
The outward journey was delayed by half an hour and the return part was...
Another thing notable about this data is that it includes journeys where the origin and destination
are the same. I am not sure how this is possible. For example, there are 35,109 recorded journeys
from Reading to Reading, despite there being no fare for this on brfares.
