hello, currently working on a project, looking for freight yards/ layups across the midlands area if anyone knows of any? coventry, nuneaton, hinkley, coleshill, tamworth way preferably... somewhere where i can get quite close and get nice images of ews, freightliners, fast lines stationary...

i have alot of respect for trainspotters, even though when i tell friends i am interested in trains n stuff they say how sad you must be to watch trains pass and write down numbers. most people would probebly say the same thing, how boring, you must have such a rubbish life to do that all day...

i am not a vandal, i have a massive interest in graffiti, i am a photographer who graduated last year with a 1st, my project was based around graffiti. what do it think of banksy? not a lot. he is a big head, he is not a good artists, anyone can make stencils, he is clever, the way he adresses...

Yes.. well that isnt the best graffiti. Would you rather see a blank old bridge or a bridge that is being kept alive with colour and somthing productive, same goes to freight trains... long boring metal.. needs to be vibrant, wheather its a tag or a nice peice. those EWS freights seem so...

I agree with many of you but when some of you are saying it is not an artform, then i have to disagree,, yes TAGGING is terrible, tagging is what i see as pointless but a nice 3D peice is completely different. It is a name the writer chooses for himself, he takes that name and writes it...

What does everyone think of graffiti art? Do you like to see a full colour peice roll past the station? Does it offend you? I am a photographer, with a massive interest in graffiti and railways and their trains. I love to see a nicely painted freight train. Do you?

I will eventually but I been looking at that place via google earth but it isnt quite what I am looking for, I am wanting to capture trains in the coutryside, or where they load up, not a yard...
