No rail connection between Girona airport and town, although I suspect the lack of many links around the world could be pressure from local taxi drivers. I believe in some countries, these guys pay a fortune for their 'ticket' and see the iron horse as a major threat to any future income.

Bring back the hovercrafts...quickest and best, albeit not the quietest.
