It probably varies from area to area. In the case of London Midland stations in the Birmingham area for example, alterations are fed into the CIS system (which controls the announcements and screens) via a computer interface in the Control Room. Control also send an email to relevant stations to...
No I was thinking more the actual platforms such as the slabs, tiles, brick work and cementing. I watched them, I mean, fair enough they did a really nice job, but they sure took their time on it!
Meanwhile the rebuilding of that viaduct section (which was fascinating) seemed to out pace the...
Because
1. The 172s keep turning up on time at my station. I wont say where I work but its along the line (not near the ends). If they were constantly losing time they would ALL be turning up late. They cannot be both losing time and keeping time.
2. What instruments have you used to...
172337 had brake problems at Langley whilst working 2S30 (10:55 ex SBJ) and was taken out of service.
And Id just like to say that the complaint about 172s not being able to keep up with the 150 timings is pure nonsense.

If we gave money out we would have a end of shift loss. The only route would be what Yorkie said.
I cant say about other TIS.

Unless a delay is manually entered...
Id say its good to set an example.
Also the people who work on the railway generally are more aware of just how dangerous it is and how contact with even a slow moving train can lead to appalling injuries. Fast moving is pretty much obliteration.
London Midland.
Im going to regret posting this now. I hate doing refunds.
I should also state this does not apply to changing the date/time on advances and may not apply to some other situations(Such as those I have nothing to do with as a BO clerk)
