The classiest livery of any TOC - the body side stripe saying 'The Route of the Flying Scotsman' A coat of arms instead of a logo. What I'm not looking forward to are trains in a livery 'like National Express Coaches' At least they've decided to drop the lunacy of 'One'

GNER will be but a memory by the time Christmas comes. Instead of a classy dark blue livery with gold lettering, we're going to have trains painted 'like National Express Coaches' (source, RM, January)

Of course, part was already disused before this evening. There were three platforms at one time, two serving Midland and northbound GN trains (and for a short while in the late 1930s, some Met services) and the third City bound GN trains coming off York Street curve. Which platforms were used...
