Which TOC offers the best First Class?

I have only been in first class on two different TOCs. EMT and VTEC. EMTs weekend service is rather poor with the buffet car shut both ways of my journey between Leicester and Nottingham and no trolley at all. I have to say the seats were nice and comfy but that's the only good point. However...
