Would that not require ticket acceptance to be in place between Avanti and LNWR to be able to use the Avanti? Which I assume won't be in place during strike disruption.
Would LNWR's obligation to facilitate onward travel be removed as the strikes mean an amended timetable is in place, without evening services, so it isn't the same as normal cases of disruptions.

I presume this is to do with the Network West Midlands peak restrictions being 9:30 rather than 9, as the ticket would also be valid...
I'm looking to go from Northampton to Leeds using an Off Peak return, travelling on the first possible off-peak service. All the journey planners say the earliest valid is at 10:25 via Manchester, however, I don't see why I couldn't get the 9:16, via Rugby and Tamworth.
