A few photos from yesterday (02 February) including the platform ends and the Platform 3 sign hanging from the shelter roof.

Also took photos last Wednesday (22nd January), have only added the ones for ticket office end, as others are just repeats.

Current message on Northern Railway website service update page: https://www.northernrailway.co.uk/service-updates So looks like this is running a couple of weeks later than initially planned (Originally stated it will reopen on 21 May).

The original plans showed the non-compliant (from an accessibility perspective) ramps replaced with stair cases, further down the platforms (so they came out into the undercroft at the same point) this appears to not be occurring. Also Real Time Trains shows trains stopping at the platforms...

I thought that when they did the North West Electrification they tried to minimise the timing between cable going up and it having 25KW running though it, as this, apparently, deters theft!
