    Haslemere must surely be one as this is where passengers change between fast and stopping services to Portsmouth, the only passenger trains I am aware of that pass without stopping are occasional XC diversions.

    Yes, the location is to the west of STJ - part of the rationale for the station is to relieve parking at Severn Tunnel Junction.

    Air quality in stations if electrification curbed.

    I wouldn't describe it as being as noticeable at Bristol Temple Meads as at some of the other stations mentioned, as only part of the station is enclosed; however the city already has significant air quality issues, so the recently truncated GWML electrification isn't exactly helping things.
