The whole assessment last 2 1/2 hours.the scaat test is at the end which is 10min long. Most your marks will be made before that with the other tests.just bare that in mind, not saying scaat is less important.
The scaat test is done on paper. So if you are using the tool in this forum print the grids off.its a little different doing it on paper compared to the pc IMO. Also its an OCR issued scaat test
Hi thanks for the replies. At first i felt it went ok.but as the days past maybe not.i focused a bit too much on accuracy i reckhon, and i suspect(obviously lol) that i must have got some questions wrong.that way i didnt even have my speed to fall back on.word of advise to those about to do...
Just called recruitment....did ac1 on 29th apr.they told me no i havent passed ac1. I asked the guy on the phone any reason why i havent been emailed this? He told me technically it hasnt been 10 working days, what the hell?! They could have told me the day after if they wanted to!
Thanks tfl
29th april, i thought it went ok at first, but now as its been so long i have my doubts on how well i actually did lol. i focused on getting things right rather than rushing, however i do get its a balancing act when doing these tests.uve got to be fast and accurate.oh well
I dont think they know themselves what to do! Lol. What annoying is ive done ac1,just tell me ive failed already please!put me out of my misery.why keep me waiting for the last 10 days
I had invite to ac1.the email wasnt like that..there was a link in it to book the ac1.no "wait and see email". I did ac1 on 29th april and im still waiting to hear back
Agree.5000+ applicants they are not going to read everyones application properly IMHO. They probably only look for keywords from ur cv and cover letter before going into your suitablilty further. I was suprised for a job like this there wasnt even any questions to answer i the application form
Interesting. I would be taking a paycut for this role, and having to get a second job.if im still in this position 4 years down the road then no thanks tfl. Living in london is not cheap
I get what your saying but if they have given an option to do something then do it.ur fighting against 5000+ applicants. I did a cv cover letter plus skills/knowledge/experience attachment. Yes it was probably overkill but i got invite to ac1.......which i think i messed up anyways!
