    Chiltern 165 & 168 are open by driver, closed by driver after receiving bell/buzzer from guard but only as far as/from Banbury then it is DOO Class 68 & Mk5 coaches are guard open and close

    This is the second time this has happened at this station. It's not the station staff that open and lock up here; there was a Sunday when they couldn't get the shutters up, so they just left them, and trains still called at the station.

    I live a stones throw from Olton (the next stop from Solihull) you do hear it, but it's not excessive, and it passes so quickly that eventually it just becomes background noise.

    This hasn't been decided yet, the MD, on a Teams call today stated as much, and that talks about method of operation would be taking place with the relevant unions etc. Stressed that no decision had been made.
