All future coarses have been cancelled. The next one won't be for a couple of years at least.

Yes I have Hurd about that, it was only yesterday I spoke to a HH driver an he had been sat at home for 8 weeks. Coal has dried up and after the new people took over they couldn't believe we had 2 separate company's! Guess more will be revealed soon.

Yes I did see him daily when he was teaching me my rules and regulations but now I'm back at my depot doing my driving hours I don't see him. There's a lot of talk about the next intake I wish I knew what was correct an what isn't.

I Hurd on the grapevine that the next intake has been cancelled due to too many already experienced drivers being out of work an looking for jobs? Anyone else Hurd this?? Hope I'm wrong....

The test is there because previously you went for an interview and if successful went onto the psychometric testing at Watford, a lot of people were getting that fair but failing the test, the new process now allows them to sift thru applicants a lot quicker, saving a lot of time and money.

Yes this is the first time it's been an online application, they can save a lot of time and money this way by thinning out the applicants that didn't get the test 100% all previous applicants were scrubbed out so they would of needed to do the online test regardless of how far thru the process...

I can assure you that because of the amount of applicants that were recieved only 100% test score will get you thru to the next round, I know this for a fact as I see the new applicant trainer daily! Remember there is only 15 spaces! Sorry to be blunt but there's no need to keep giving people...

Yeh my mistake, the next intake is October with 15 places up for grabs.

There was 8000 applicants for the June intake with only 15 spaces available, you will only be processed if you got all 12 questions correct on the test! Anyone that has applied previously will not be counted unless they re-applied on line! Hope this helps :) --- old post above --- --- new post...

Some people have been offered places, I have recieved my employee handbook, contract, uniform request and pay scale for the March intake! Only 6 weeks away, I start on the 16th March! My medical was back in September so have had to wait a fair bit! There is another intake in June tho, so good...

I'll be based in ipswich! Up to Crewe on my first day tho! Yeh I'm on the graduate course! I had my medical back in September, reason why I waited so long is they said they didn't have enough people that had passed to start the course. Well done to the chap goin for medical, was was at Harley...

Anyone else starting on March the 16th?? First induction day is at Crewe! Received all my packs, just sent off my uniform order! Buzzing to get started!

Hi guys, just to let you know, I had my medical on 25/9/14, got my results back a week later and have been confirmed on the March intake, was surprised I haven't got the chance sooner as everything seemed to be rushed to get me thru the medical! Can't wait to start the training. Good luck to all.

Hi yeh it's the trainee driver graduate not heavy haul, you have a first initial interview at the depot then they decide to put you thru for testing etc! Everything seemed pretty rushed to be honest but I guess in a way that's good! Had my medical yesterday, just waiting for results to come back...
