Prague is a great example - 350 CZK gives you 72 hours of unlimited travel on all their public transport. In GBP that’s around ~£12.45 - just over £4 per day. You can quite easily spend over £12 in one day

You say a 375 hasn’t served Edenbridge… can confirm that announcement has (presumably) been used.

Paint (vinyl) them red and stick them on the Gatwick Express, all 387s greened up and moved to Southern thus removing the problem of “Italian Flagged” stock on the Gatwick Express and giving the Gat Ex a proper pool of trains and making it a decent and slightly worthwhile upgrade to Southern.

And the HEX 387s are maintained by GWR at Reading so getting rid would make things that little bit more complicated

Went on a refurbed 158 last month - was overall very impressed given it was a light refresh however the lack of USBs was more shocking. I know some of them have USBs but consistency is key. Can’t think of many modern refreshes which don’t have plugs and/or USBs

I suspect those will probably end up with Scotrail too when Lumo get their new Hitachi stock
