Being hypo/hyper glycemic attack free for 6 months would be a near impossibility for a type 1 . For example if your are in a really deep sleep and your sugar levels drop. Your body wont automatically wake up until your sugar levels are dangerously low.
I can't see that happening to be honest. You should be allowed to take the interviews again. If you fail the guard assessments then there's a problem but you've passed them. I don't know for sure.

I'm not sure if sending a speculative application would work, because of the volume of applications. It's worth a try definitely, you aren't going to lose anything.
Not being in any rush is a good thing as it's a long process. Just keep your eyes peeled for new positions on all websites...
Just got home to find a letter from merseyrail and that I've been invited to the assessment day. Really chuffed considering the volume of applications. Can you let me know what to expect in the assessment please and how should I prepare?
