    Reading to Henley-on-Thames return validity

Thanks - very interesting. Out of interest where does one find these easements?

    Reading to Henley-on-Thames return validity

Perhaps a stupid question but in a couple of weeks I will be travelling from Reading to Henley-on-Thames, then walking to Marlow and (the same day) getting the train back to Reading from Marlow. Would an off peak day return Reading to Henley on Thames cover the Marlow portion. It says it is...

Two Together Railcard returns 3 March 2014

I haven't been through the whole process to complete a purchase yet but, for example, the first great western app enables me to purchase an individual ticket with the two together discount applied.

Two Together Railcard returns 3 March 2014

I couldn't find an obvious answer to this question in the T&Cs or FAQs but think I have worked it out. If my partner and I were to travel to Peterborough (for example) I would not need to buy a ticket reading (where we live) to london as I have an annual season ticket. Therefore usually her...

Weather related disruption - Christmas 2013 and New Year 2014

Is there any kind of ball park estimate as to when the issues on the line between Maidenhead and Twyford are likely to be resolved (or is it wholly dependant on the weather)?

Delay Compensation - A "secret" of the rail network?

I am trying to understand the FGW season ticket policy - haven't really got to the bottom of it through the website or a visit to the ticket office at reading so hopefully someone on here can help! I note that the website says the following: Season ticket holders For details of...

Ticket validity - reading to brentford

Yes - that is the one. My thought was that Reading to london waterloo via windsor stations is 'a route' but sure I am wrong!

Ticket validity - reading to brentford

Sorry - loose terminology! Meant a season ticket (ie annual gold card).

Ticket validity - reading to brentford

I need to do some relatively unusual journeys in a few weeks and wonder if the learned people on here could help with ticketing validity for the following journey. I have a reading to london travelcard (without underground). 1) reading to brentford (via feltham) 2) brentford to reading...

Annual Gold Card - broken by phone

Perhaps defective is inaccurate - would "not fit for purpose" be more accurate? The Oyster card does not have this problem (ie the magnet in phones breaking it) and I'm sure I can't be the only person this happens to regularly!

Annual Gold Card - broken by phone

I have had an annual gold card for travel between reading and London paddington for about five years now - every time I have received said ticket I have managed to break it within a matter of days (I have three devices, a phone, a work phone and an iPod, one of which ends up in the same pocket...

Reading - Paddington Gold Card ticket validity query

Hi all, I have been reading this forum for a few months and am aware that there are plenty of knowledgeable people on here - I now have a ticketing query and have more faith in finding someone who knows the answer here than at a ticket office! I have a reading stations to London terminals...
