Ah, okay. I'd read somewhere that you can reserve seats with other operators via the LNER app, but that appears to be incorrect. I know you can do it from the TPE website, but it doesn't alllow you to choose a seat (and seemingly just allocates you a random seat, ignoring your preferences...

If I try to reserve a seat for any journey (at any time and with any operator) using the seat reservation section of the LNER app or website, I get the message: "Sorry, no journeys can be found. Please try another search." Has anyone else found this?
