When you get up in morning don't have a pee, if you can hold it then till your medical that'll be ok, you have to pee midstream into the container.
Failing that, drink a load of water as soon as you leave the house on way to your medical. Hth
I passed tests with a TOC back in april 2013 and was eventually taken on in august with a start date of October 2013.......... I was 45 when taken on.
Don't give up
Mine didn't need screening. I peed in a bottle with chemicals already in the bottle(bottle was sealed and chosen by me). After a few minutes, as long as the colour didn't change, it was a pass.
IMHO they're looking for people of all ages, but it will count in your favour your life experience, job experience, etc
I'm 46 and coming toward the end of my trainee driver course.
Good luck by the way
I would think it's a very, very high pass rate.
they wont want you to fail after all the training, time and money they've spent on you..... I think they'll probably pull you through even if you need extra time
I think age does come into it. If the person is 16/17 years of age then at that age they have other things on their mind rather than concentrating something they know they wont be actually able to do for a few years. They have time, time to mature and get into that work ethic that you need to be...
No, it's not easy waiting!!
I passed the assessments in April and had to wait till middle of August for next phone call to be invited for the SI and medical, it was a killer waiting.
So, from the closing date of Jan 21st till actually getting to last stage was just over 7 months...
