There's no reason why you can't BUT look at the Signaller recruitment process first. Its long and drawn out so be sure you'll enjoy the other role if you're successful. Track maintenance needs committed staff.
There are two parts on the lift counting. The recruitment facilitator will talk you through everything. You get practice runs before the realtime test commences. Don't be afraid to ask for a replay on the tones. Listen carefully to what to do on the second part. You'll be ok on first bit. The...
Did they tell you your score? Sometimes they give you a result if you ask on 0161 261 7594. It might help if you find out because it is clearly stressing you. As JohnFM says tho "IT'S DONE"
There are others on here at least that could tell you their score maybe and you'll have an idea where you...
You can pay BUT you cannot work unless you have a sponsor. Its a risk but most companies will want PTS as standard. Also research track induction and Network Rail requirements of any potential contractor before they can go on track. There's more than just PTS to consider. If you have an...
I have been offered a job at Shrewsbury aidduz. I had no idea there were 2 posts or that only 3 got to interview. I really hope you get the second then. Its taken over 12 months for me to get an offer. Good luck and I hope to see you soon. I've only ever had app unsuccessful in past so I'm sure...
I guess it depends if the reference is professional or personal. They would surely clarify your previous post, length of service and perhaps how you left, i.e.resigned etc. It will be to confirm what you put on your application and purely to be diligent under their own recruiting policy.
They kinda go hand-in-hand with one another. Depends where you live. Search contracting companies and send e-mails. Some will take without experience but you might have to fund your own PTS. Good luck
What did your formal offer include? What info did you have to provide? I've had an offer via phone today and said they would e-mail an offer pack, I just wondered what's in the pack and what you had to do besides medical etc.
Hello all,
I have received a call today from NR HR and have been provisionally offered a role as an Off Track Operative. Can anybody tell me what the offer pack details and what the next stages are please? I'm presuming a medical plus references but is there anything else?
Thanks :D
Hi all. There are around 50 questions to answer and they surround any previous signalling knowledge to situations where you can evidence communication, team work, dealing with difficult situations and leading a team. I guess they will be looking for some indication you hold the basic skills...
Good luck. Still doesn't mean that we'll get selected for assessment days tho. It'll depend on our scores and percentile I guess.
Has anybody had a rejection e-mail about these vacancies if your application has been under consideration?
