    Wrongly Assumed Facts by Passengers

I still disagree that 'most' people don't know what an advance ticket is...or the simple fact that buying things earlier means it costs less....flights, coaches, accommodation, concerts The idea that people in places as far as Huddersfield would roll up at a train station with a trip to London...

    Wrongly Assumed Facts by Passengers

It seems perhaps coincidental that their guesses are the actual rough costs of advance fares...suggesting your colleagues are very much aware of advance tickets and the actual point here is that most people are unaware of the existence of 'walk up fares'. Ask anyone at my workplace the cost of a...

West Midlands First Class. Any experience?

A couple of mentions of a 'guaranteed seat' here...of course not the case, and frequently the opposite - on at least 4 of the departures I regularly use 1st is standing room only, with standard having loads of space.

    Abellio wins West Midlands franchise

Re: invisible guards I downgraded my first class ticket when I started using LM instead of Virgin...not because of lack of extras, but simply because in 6 months my ticket was checked once, and I constantly heard people saying "oh we'll just sit in here, no one checks". I'm sure somewhere...

    Abellio wins West Midlands franchise

It's still on the station signs themselves, as well as on road signs etc. The amount of logos which a passenger will see now at a station like mine is incredible - National Rail arrows, NWM logo, West Midlands Railway logo, London Northwestern logo - all ,in their own way, correct. It needs an...

    Abellio wins West Midlands franchise

Long time lurker, 1st time poster... I've been keeping a close eye on the West Midlands bid for quite a while, as someone who works in graphics and who is interested in branding and visual design...and I've been excited about a 'regional' livery for the West Midlands since the idea was first...
