    I would normally catch the 15.28 arriving at 19.56 (taking 4 hrs 12m) but the nearest on 23 January leaves at 16.15 arriving at 22.06 (taking 5 hrs 51 mins) Some of the departures involve a bus journey between Exeter and Taunton

    My daughter is at Uni in Canterbury and will be looking to do this journey - is there a cheaper way than Canterbury - St Pancras-Paddinton-Totnes and if not is there a cheaper way of splitting the ticket?

    Buying from a station before the day of travel is not an option for me as the closest station to me is over 30 minutes drive away, hence why I buy on line - all very confusing!

    Thanks for that, it does seem strange though that on the cross country website they should give you the option for Groupsave if they do not give it as a discount.
