My favourite would be to re-open Kenilworth, which used to have a station. It is I believe, now the largest town in Britain without one - and yet the rails run straight through the middle of it!

They have been known to go faster - like when a 153 gets coupled on to the back of a 170 (maximum speed 100mph) and the driver forgets it's there.
