Simple solution would be what Transdev have wanted to do for years and get rid of the 840. You could easily run the 843 as normal to Scarborough and get passengers for the 840 to change at Malton, and run single deck buses to Goathland or Whitby

    Go Cornwall Bus

Will be interesting to see what vehicles will enter the fleet for the additional work, I wonder if the 17 plates from Plymouth will be cascaded over the Tamar Bridge now that the new electrics are in service

    Cheapest National Express journey?

Isn’t the overnight run to N40 Heathrow from Ealing Broadway £2 singles, that would be one of the logical tickets someone could purchase

    Carousel Buses (Go-Ahead group)

The 102 never ran on Christmas Day only Boxing Day & New Year’s Day. The 724 Boxing Day & New Years Day shuttle service was operated under contract to Heathrow, having previously been operated by Thames Valley Buses. These will run again this year as 725 however unclear as to who will operate this

The 701 from Reading to London runs every Boxing Day seeing as there are no services running on the railways. Same with the Ensign services from Southend to Bluewater and Upminster for Tube connections

100% of no scheduled trains means that there are no delays or short notice cancellations. It’s TFW would you expect anything less

East Yorkshire Motor Services, now part of Go-Ahead

Maybe the new competition on the 128 route from Viscount has prompted East Yorkshire to make the decision to purchase the buses and to place them into service once the new timetable starts next week. Were people complaining when the Norwich Park & Ride buses were up in Hull?

    Transdev Blazefield

Harrogate should be unaffected in relation to West Yorkshire franchising, I’m guessing the 36 would still operate as per a permit system.
