Last night there were a 5Q20 to 5Q25 runs Canton to Pontypridd to Canton then 5Q26 to Bargoed 5Q27 back to Canton. I’m assuming this again is a 756 on test? Thank you if anyone knows.
Early hours of Saturday morning 1 June 5Q00 ran from Canton to Caerphilly and returned as 5Q01. Just curious what this might have been if any kind person knows, please. I was wondering if it might have been a 756?? Thanks
That was my post and I only saw them last Friday and I'd seen no posts on the usual channels to say they'd arrived. But doing some digging I think it was around the 14/15 December.

I see last Saturday there were a couple of middle of the night runs 5Q74-78 Canton - Radyr - Pontypridd - Canton, from my local group it's believed to be the first 756 test run up the Valleys
I think there is an expectation that 231's will also provide some cover on the TAM lines until the 398's are in service mid-next year. 231008 was booked to run over the VOG yesterday and reverse at Bridgend off the 2123 from Radyr but was subbed for a 150.
