There are pretty limited staff at MCV in the late evening, and they aren't the most helpful. I agree that the right thing to do is probably keep pushing at Northern then if it comes to it, get a deadlock letter to take them to the Ombudsman. I wouldn't call the Ombudsman process 'stressful'...

What do you mean by 'certain' - 195s, 331s and the incoming 350/2? I could understand that given they were built this century. Putting 150s into GBR livery sounds like a waste of money.

I used to wonder why there were so many 'trespass incidents' reported as reasons for delay, but I recently discovered that it's one of the cover terms for a suicide, as is 'emergency services dealing with an incident' which sometimes gets used in tandem. That comment was more pointed at the 150s that more generally interwork with 323s. 158s are about where I'd say the baseline is for things that can get away with still being in service!

Hearing the word 'refresh' in relation to Northern rolling stock doesn't fill me with hope - surely they'll come out looking better than "refurbished" 15x? It annoys me that the Sprinters are set to outlive the 323s - that shouldn't be the case. The 350s are welcome, mind.

I severely doubt many/any 15x will get GBR livery (except possibly some 158/159?). In the case of Northern, DfT already refused to change from Arriva's branding at least once - 195s maybe, but I bet that's even a while off. It'd be a big u-turn, and it'd get bashed as a waste of money on 40...

Cheers- I can see it's not part of the station sign so I guess there's nothing so stop them. I thought these new station signage plans were meant to stop such visual clutter when wayfinding though.
