The position light on this signal will only illuminate if you are running round a train on the "Marchwood Main" or the loop. I will always receive a single yellow with one of the junction indicators, depends which road the Romsey stopper is sit on.

I am down to Marchwood on 6B45/6V38 next Tuesday to Friday so is there any signals you need pictures of "from the sharp end" to help you along.

The up and down relief are 100mph from Didcot to Tilehurst. Mind you following a stopper on my freights you might as well stick to 40mph. As for flashing yellows there is a nice one at Oxford North Jct for the signal into the up platform at 25mph! They are not always for fast junctions.

EWS Eastleigh is very much alive and as you said does work on the Voyagers over night. They also do maintenance on FL 57's. as well as MOD wagons and the odd EWS 66! They are storing the French 58's there as they come back. 3 there already. Here is a picture of the fuel point.
