Hi Marin, I applied in Feb 2019, I’m an external candidate, I start this Monday! I was under the impression that the 2019 pool was used for the Oct and Nov course and then the new pool from January onwards. That was from someone on this forum, not from anyone at TFW. I would definitely chase...

I’m viewing the change over as a positive thing given the current climate.

Signed my contract yesterday, starting on the November course. Was placed in the pool in August but applied in 2019.

So to qualify for full pension new entrants have to work to their 65th birthday.

62 isn’t so bad, i was expecting 65.

Hi all. Posting this as the info online is quite hazy. Does anyone know any details about the Transport for Wales pension? Is it still a final salary scheme for new entrants? Can you make extra contributions to boost your pension? Can you retire at 60?

I know someone in for Cardiff who is still waiting to hear too.
