Also if this was a bus strike day, the 407 route had a limited or no service therefore people may have used the X26 to get between West Croydon and Sutton.

From what I understand, 2547 is offsite and 2561 was last berthed outside the shed nearest Therapia Lane tram stop. I’m guessing the other two (53 & 59) may have been in the shed being worked on as there is space for four trams inside.

Yes, they were all request stops but now are compulsory.

All Croydon Tramlink stops are compulsory unless instructed to non stop by control.

Yes, I was a guard for SWT and enjoyed every minute of it and I would still recommend it now if asked. But since I have left and SWT was taken over by SWR, it seems to get a lot worse press and I only see what’s said from the outside, that’s why I asked the question

I have, in between both depots so travel not an issue. Both have / are going through difficult periods with timetables and infrastructure issues. One is getting new trains the other almost has a standard stock. And I was asking for other people’s views rather than being questioned

Southern at the moment but how long can you wait for a course date? Is it better just going for the company that offers the first course date? Both positions are metro work, are there any major differences?

Awaiting course date with one (everything passed except medical) and the other is offering a course date in next month if pass DMI in next few weeks

Is there any major differences between TOCs when it comes to accepting a position as a trainee driver? Is Southern better than SWR or should I go for the one that offers a course first and not worry about the company?

I personally think they can be strict, as they will have a lot of applicants to choose from. I was asked again at interview about how I would get to work and how long it would take. Good luck
