B3my0, would you say that when most tram drivers leave it's to move on to trains and this when vacancies appear for tram drivers? Just interested as want to have a go at tram driver some day. I would assume you would be fine on heavy rail from what you have said.

Some have heard back in a week and others including myself have waited 5 months+ and heard nothing as it's an ongoing recruitment process. Application is usually through KAM website so thanks for the info.

I applied in December but not heard anything so don't know about interview questions sorry. From what I have read on here some have got through with 1/3 to 1/2 page so section 1 around 10 lines and section 2 and 3 around 7, 8 lines but the pass score is unknown. Scaat is 9 pages with 1 minute per page I believe and you have to do as many lines as you can but accurately. Did you apply back in December garryyy?

Martin, just read this article and it doesn't look very good does it. All forms of public transport have there share of problems I'm sure. Did you get to your Metrolink assessment by the way.

Just seen a job on the First website for train driver at nearly 50k! I have read that a many Metrolink drivers move on to this after getting experience. Any idea how many do this anyone.

Stooey that sounds like you got quite far down, others on here have said a third to a half way down. Guess there's bus job going in March then.

Also, Stooey, Kezbian or anybody else, how far down the SCAAT sheets did you get on each of the 3 sub sections. Guessing you got more on section 1 than 2 or 3. Cheers.

How was the Cables And Dials test stooey, kezbian or anybody else. Is it reading priority from 4 dials.

Are the Psychometric Tests on paper or computer based. Others have said this is SCAAT and cables and dials, is this right? Thanks.
