Yeah, sit tight. I was in the Gloucester pool for about 4 years. I was only moved to Bristol pool after gently hassling recruitment to see if there was a pool with a bit more movement. It paid off. Start date confirmed 29th April. Cant quite believe it.

Fingers crossed for you too. It's been a long journey for any of us who get this far. Sit tight and know that you've done well to get where you are. I'm sure you'll get the call.

Has anyone else received a call from GWR about a course starting at the end of April? I had my medical last Monday (4th) and am just waiting for a formal offer. Really keen to hand my notice in but don't want to jinx it before I get the final nod!

It is a long time to wait but I have also applied for other TOC's when they pop up and are geographically viable. Was even invited for an interview and sent for a medical with a freight company for a role based nearly three hours away! In two more talent pools with them now and applying for...

Been waiting three and a half years in a talent pool at Gloucester. Applying now for the Bristol pool. The waiting can be so disheartening but We live in hope!

Congratulations. Really happy for you. Getting on a course starting in January would be the best news in years for me! Anyone here still in the pool at Gloucester? I’ve been there since September 2019… feels like much longer.
