If the train is full, the conductor is at liberty to resale the berth not occupied. If you had booked espace privative then you would have been ok. You shouldn't have a problem but...

They are available to Eurostar and Eurostar's agents with the right credentials (Rail Canterbury, being one). RSTL are agents of Deutsche Bahn and these fares are not available to them, which is why RSTL & Ffestiniog and other cannot offer them.

If there is FIP space left on the train then you can. It is usually cheaper though to have "advance-purchase" tickets than FIP.
