Peschiera Del Garda to Verona and Brescia sanity check

Trenitalia app is easy to use, ticket offices can be slow. You can purchase multiple tickets on the app. No validation required for online tickets. I'm looking forward to my holiday in Peschiera in three weeks time.

Been from Peschiera del Garda to Venezia and back today

I'm going to Peschiera in September also. We go every year. I travel from Paris to Milan, then on to Peschiera. Plenty of bars with Birra Artiginali (craft beer).

    Eurostar Plus is becoming worse

Last week I ordered the chicken, which was the meal listed on the website. The staff member told me, quite sniffing, that it wasn't chicken abd I'd loked at the wrong menu. The options were salmon salad or courgette and fennel salad, neither of which were even slightly attractive to me. I merely...

Paris: walk between Gare du Nord and Gare de Lyon areas?

Another option is the 91 bus. A view of Paris without the effort. Express de Lyon opposite Gare de Lyon, does excellent, good value meals and has a large choice of craft beers which are very cheap by any standards, never mind Paris. The cheese board with bread is superb. €8 last year.

How to buy flexible CIV ticket to follow a Eurostar journey ?

I'm not an expert, but I think that the London Eurostar ticket is just a tube journey add on. I'd imagine that other posters can confirm.

How to buy flexible CIV ticket to follow a Eurostar journey ?

I was responding to the screenshot of a London Eurostar CIV ticket which isn't the same. I've never had a problem booking LNE tickets.

    Eurostar Plus is becoming worse

I'm waiting at Brussels. This is today's menu. Looks like I won't be eating. Why can't they offer a simple sandwich?

    Merseyrail semi-fast running antics.

The 23:30 used to run to Liverpool. 23:00 is too early for the final train. If youare in a pub or restaurant in the city centre you have to leave by 22:40 at the latest.

Proposed new Channel Tunnel services discussion

I've walked from Europe to Flandres. It couldn't be easier. Go down the escalator and keep walking. Easier and quicker than, for instance, finding your way to the Eurostar terminal at St. Pancras from the tube.

Proposed new Channel Tunnel services discussion

Europe is quiet and rather impersonal. Flandres is a busy 'proper' station. I'd say 7 minutes walk maximum from Europe. Flandres has plenty of bars over the road for refreshments. There are many better bars elsewhere in the city, but the ones nearest to the station stock acceptabe local/Belgian...

    Advice for travel in Belgium

Easiest way to buy train tickets is the SNCB app. There is an English option. Travelling in Flanders, again download thier app for bus and tram ticket. Both apps are very easy to use.

Do any other European countries change their schedules between Christmas and New Year?

I was in Bruges on New Year's Eve. A Belgian friend of mine was wondering whether to take the 01:40 bus home, or a later one. They were running throughout the night. If only in the U.K.
