I think you may be incorrect. Once passed out you would be a fully qualified train driver the same as any other ETD Licence, except your traction would be OTMs. The operator part is for the operating the tamper/OTM when in possessions.

Yeah I'm happy with salary too!! Well I had van full time of my own with the job I'm giving up bit with this job I've got to make my own way to and from work and if I need a vehicle just whatever is free in the yard. When on call I get a van to take home though.

York, what did you think of the salary? I've had to give up a van as well which was a little disappointing but I really wanted the job so it's a small price to pay
