Today's Underground stations look so much swankier than they did back in the 70s and 80s.
Are there any stations which still retain that "gritty" ambience?
I'm ideally after stations in Zones 1-3 for a photo project I'm working on.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Thankyou for the advice.
An off peak return is £11.20.
Add a single bus fare and it's £12.70
Peak fare capped is £12.80.
Looks like the Wonderful World of Off Peak isn't very wonderful.
There seems to be conflicting advice as to what constitutes off peak travel on Southwestern.
I'm using an oyster card to travel from Surbiton (Zone 6 South Western Trains) to Oxford Circus (Zone 1 Tfl)
The South Western website states that an off peak fare is one which arrives at Waterloo...
Dale, it only happened on Wednesday and I've not heard anything yet.
An option to pay £20 within 20 days is not something that any of the other experts here have flagged as a possibility. The docket he gave me simply said "ticketing irregularity".

It could have been the 09:06 or the 09:01, or an earlier train that was delayed. No idea as to how to find out exactly which one.

Can you point me to the real-world examples on which you've based your statement? Relevant case law would...
Haven't we also had 100 years of fines and convictions being overturned and thrown out?
A "one crime fits all" approach is not accepted by those who find in favour of the defendant, is it?
I'm still interested in exactly how an incompletely filled in element if paperwork is not material?

I don't consider a year's worth of high prices and poor customer experience to be any better value than a day of same, but that's just me. Few of us have any real choice in the matter. We put up with it because wr have to, not because we choose to
Thanks for the reply, Dave
Is a penalty defined as a ticket?

if an incomplete docket is irrelevant, why is so much of a deal made of it in other advice on similar...
Thanks for your reply
Uncooperative and awkward how?
Details please
if my personal opinions on the morality of Penalty tickets are irrelevant for a defense then they must be equally irrelevant to a prosecution, yes?
This is my first post on this forum, so hopefully I'm doing this right.
Last week I travelled on my Oyster card from Surbiton to London Victoria. This requires changing at Clapham Junction from. Southwest train to a Southern one.
The Southern train was busy but not full.
On boarding the...
